Hi, I'm Lisa. This is my husband Cliff and me at Charlemagne Records in 1994. We actually met at Charlemagne’s in 1985… I was walking around the store with some Yes bootlegs in my hand and this super cute guy came up and asked me about these records I was buying. We married three years later. Cliff passed away 13 years ago and I have decided it’s time to sell everything now that vinyl has returned to popularity. These records have been sitting unplayed for about 15 years now so it’s time for someone else to enjoy them.

Music wasn't just a hobby for us, it was a way of life. During our years together, we spent countless hours at Charlemagne’s, The Bad Seed (remember them?), Wuxtry, Wax n' Facts, Vinyl Solutions and every other record store we could find. Anytime we went to another city, we would find a phone booth with the Yellow Pages, rip out the “Record Stores” page, get out our map, and go hunting.

Selling this collection has been incredibly difficult… but also rewarding. It’s brought back a ton of memories that might have been lost if I hadn’t taken the time to research our records one-by-one. I hope that anything you may buy is something you will enjoy as much as we did.
